Most likely the two convergence Ics they are STK392-110 Ics also check the low ohm resistors 1.8 ohm 1watt there are six of them

Thanks, wished I could have been a better help but without the service manual, all I can offer is the basic with checking the low voltage regulators, bad caps and etc.

Your model is the V14 Chassis. The service manual will be needed to trouble shoot as chances are the satndby voltages are out possibly a low voltage regulator or such which is usually the case in the early mitsubishis from the middle 90s

No your model is the three CRT rear projection so it has three picture tubes instaed of the lamp. often if the audio still works but the picture is out it can be attributed to the vertical IC needing replacement or resoldering as the tubes will shutdown during verticak failure.

Thanks, and reseating the connectors could have been the issue as That has been known to cause the shutdown and blinking led before.

Yes, if the voltage rises it will trigger the shutdown when the horizontal spikes.

this is what I would check first, as I have seen this numerous times with the V18 and V19 mitsubishi.
Main Power Supply surges at startup causing Horz Deflection to spike, triggering error code 2-3 and shutdown. Cause is defective IC Error Amp IC9A51 (SE110N) not holding down. Replaced with NTE7215. Also replaced associated photocoupler PC9A51 with TLP421.

What you need to check for on the power supply board is the 5VDC at CN3 Pin 9. to find out if its there or not.If its there then the DE2 would be suspect. If its not there then the Power board is suspect.I have the photo that shows you where it is located and I also have the service manual for your model. Email me at slinteriors@yahoo.com and I will email the service manual to you along with the Photo illustration of the power board.

Six Blinks of the LED: This indicates a B+ power error. The switched 5V line on the power supply board is not present. If

the power control line (VCEGO) at CN7 pin 8 is going high, replace the PSU board. If not, the DE2 board may be
at fault.

Colega, Need just a little more info to help you out. Fisrt are there any on screen displays such as Menu, Volume bar etc visble on the screen? Also when it shuts down by itself. Does it stay off or come back on? Does the Led go out/ Blink or etc? Plasma and LCD flat panels are usually board replacement repairs other than capacitors in the power supply. So if you can give me a little more info I can try to point you in which board the problem is most likely centered .
