I have Samsung rear projection tv that I had installed two new Convergence ic's, I check the fuses and resistiors around them and they all check out good. When I try align the colors they all move except the red, the red will move right and left but will not change up or down.
Any suggestions on how to repair this.

you didnt say wether or not if you rechecked your solder connections. That is where I would start. Which color wouldnt align before? If it wasnt the red, then chances are it could be a bad solder joint. Also look for a solder drip that could have formed a bridge across the pins.

I have check the solder joints a couple of times, they all looked good. There was no bridging of solder. The Red color is the one that is off and does not move in the alignment screen set up. It will move right and left but not up or down. That is the same color that was the problem before I change the IC's. Is it possible that the new IC's I installed are bad?
